This 60% Coco Loco bar is quite the trip to paradise. The Goodnow Farms team crafted this coconut milk chocolate bar with creamy coconut milk, coconut sugar, and rich dark rum to produce this tropical treat!
The Goodnow Farms team was inspired by their favorite Colombia beach cocktail, Coco Loco. They discovered this drink in Cartagena during one of their cacao sourcing trips in Colombia. There's many variations to this drink and they fell in love with the combination of coconut, rum, and citrus.
They actually did not use use cane sugar or dairy in this bar. They added naranjilla fruit while refining the chocolate to sweeten the chocolate.
They actually use their Esmeraldas chocolate from Ecuador and Lawley's Dark Rum in their bar.
