This 80% dark chocolate bar crafted by Odyssey Chocolate uses cacao from Venezuela. This Venezuelan Chuao cacao is one of the few criollo origins in existence.
The chocolate has nutty and fruity notes and is essentially free of all bitterness. Johnny Epps, the owner and chocolate maker crafted this bar as an 80% bar because of the low levels of bitterness and astringency. It was the first internationally awarded chocolate bar they produced.
